Privacy Policy
This is a template that must be reviewed by qualified counsel and updated to reflect what this deployment actually does before the site goes live. It describes the site as configured at the time of writing: an informational site with no advertising and no forms, which uses one analytics provider that records browsing sessions. Because session recording and cookies are in use, this site may have obligations under state privacy laws, including disclosure and opt-out requirements. That is a question for counsel, not for this template.
Information we collect
Emergency Plumber does not host forms, does not create accounts, and does not ask you for personal information. We do, however, use analytics that observe how pages are used.
Microsoft Clarity
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors move through the site, so we can find pages that are confusing or broken. Clarity is more than pageview counting: it records a replay of your interactions with the page.
What Clarity collects on our behalf includes:
- Pages you visit, how long you stay, and the order you visit them in
- Clicks, taps, scrolling, and mouse movement, replayable as a session recording
- Device, browser, operating system, and screen size
- Approximate geographic location derived from your IP address
- The site or search engine that referred you
Clarity sets first-party cookies to recognise returning sessions. It is configured to mask text you type, but you should not enter sensitive information into any website you do not intend to be recorded. Data collected through Clarity is processed by Microsoft under the Microsoft Privacy Statement, and we do not control its retention.
You can prevent Clarity from loading by blocking third-party scripts in your browser, using an ad or tracker blocker, or browsing with a privacy-focused browser. Blocking it does not affect your use of this site.
Server logs
Our hosting provider may retain standard server logs, which can include IP addresses, browser type, and pages requested, for security and operational purposes. We do not use those logs to identify individuals.
Phone calls
The phone number on this site connects with a licensed emergency plumbing partner rather than with us. When you place that call, the receiving company collects and handles your information under its own privacy policy, not ours, and calls may be recorded or tracked by that company. We do not receive or store the contents of those calls.
Third parties
We do not sell visitor information. We share it with Microsoft only to the extent that Clarity operates on this site, as described above, and with our hosting provider as a function of serving the pages. Links to external sites are governed by those sites' own policies.
Children
This site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information a business holds about you, and to opt out of certain tracking. We do not hold a customer database, but analytics data associated with your browsing is processed by Microsoft as described above. You can contact us at hello@emergencyplumbernear.us with any request or question, and you can block Clarity at any time using the methods listed above.
Changes
If this site later adds advertising, call tracking, or forms, this policy must be updated before those are enabled. Last reviewed 2026-07-28; first published 2026-07-28.
